Mason recently held its annual Career Day.  Businesses and individuals from the community spent the day at the school making presentations related to their jobs.  Students were able to visit each station to gain information, ask questions, and at times even participate in job related activities.  This was a highly anticipated event for both students and teachers.  A special thank you to all of...

Students celebrated the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.  The day is part of a nationally recognized event called Read Across America.  Students and teachers dressed as their favorite storybook character and all students received free books and bookmarks.

Representatives from local bank, The First, recently visited fourth grade students to discuss the importance of saving money, spending wisely, and budgeting.

On Thursday, February 21, 2019,  the students of Mason Elementary presented a program titled "I Stand Flexin' in my Complexion" in celebration of Black History Month.  The program was led by students under the direction of faculty members.

Students who have put forth extra effort to work hard and exhibit good citizenship are chosen each month to represent their class as Student of the Month. One student from each classroom was chosen by their teacher.  Students of the Month for the first semester are pictured below.
